Heavenly, Tasty and Organic – Too good to be true? Test and Review 🇬🇧

I went to Brit Mums Live in June as part of my first trip away alone without the family. The buzz was amazing and it was very special to sit in a room full of such talented women, carving away their own little niche in the online world. As I was getting ready to go to Brit Mums Live I looked at the list of sponsors and one stood out for me, Heavenly® organic superfoods – probably because I like food. But also because they claim to be tasty, organic, superfoods, loved by babies, toddlers and older kids as well as promoting healthy eating! If anyone could test these claims, then Mama Chic and our Clan can.

Can they really be this Heavenly?

Viking Heroes Family Challenge 2016🇩🇪

IMG_7401

ISYbe® Trinkflasche 1,0 Liter Test 🇩🇪

So viele tolle Flaschen!
So viele tolle Flaschen!

Which Wellies? Wellies Test and 5 Tips 🇬🇧

Wellies, wellies everywhere, but which ones should I pick?

The snow is falling outside, but tomorrow we are forecast sun, so you know it must be April! And April weather means April clothing. Today that means for me buying wellies. Not the most exciting of topics, I know but I have bought and been given so many pairs in the last five years and they were all different. Some were good, some (that I bought!) were duds. So here are five tips if you are buying some wellies this month:

Going on a trip? Take your Trunki® 🇬🇧

Our trusty Trunki®
Our trusty Trunki®

My daughter got her Trunki® for her second Birthday from my sister. It was an instant hit and has remained so until now. She is nearly six and still wants to use it whenever we travel. It has been a lifesaver in long lines at the airport or when spending the night away from home.

Great for a weekend away.
Great for a weekend away.

When she was younger, we could fit enough in for two weeks. Now we can manage about five days worth of clothes and various equipment! It is also a good size for hand-luggage on the plane.

Still a winner.
Still a winner.

As you can see she can still sit and ride on it, but she can also pull it herself if you undo one of the straps. It has a cute little lock so that the things stay safe even if you check it in. The lock is also a very fun game for a two year old who is bored of waiting.

This Trunki® has been checked in on flights before and survived well because it is made of pretty hardy stuff. The only thing you have to watch is that it needs to lie down in the boot of your car or else it rolls around on its own! The children find this entertaining but it is a lot better if you lie it on its side.

You can get a wonderful selection from amazon, there are many different kinds of animals or famous friends, like the Gruffly. Each one has some way for the child to hold on while you are pulling them along. They all have the four wheels too, which makes them stable and easier to pull, even with an older child sitting on it.

Sadly I think we will need to buy a larger case for our next holiday for our older girl, but it will soon be just right for the little one.

Winter Wetter mit Weleda 🇩🇪

IMG_5581

Was hilft dagegen?
